Fit the Deck

We LOVE a big deck - and the space it provides to enjoy the great outdoors.  Our plan is to have the deck wrap around the entire cottage.  But will our beautiful BC Red Cedar arrive in time? Will our contractor Randy be able to finish on budget?  Will we EVER have the deck of our dreams?  Guess only time will tell…

It begins! The boys from Randy Blain Construction make a start on the wrap around deck.

A four sided deck keeps things neat and increases the amount of usable space. Our deck will provide a dining area, sitting room with fire and two coffee nooks for guests.

We're leaving the lake shore natural as it should be, levelling one area for a fire pit and grassing the approach to the cottage.

The combination of Western Red Cedar deck with black and glass Sunspace railings adds definition and echoes the finishes of the house perfectly.
